- Membrane Switches
Membrane switches, also known asmembrane keypads, are the integral seal structure comprised of multi-layer circuit boards. The membrane keypad combines the key switch, panel and indication graphic interface. It is a new electronic component that integrates the photographic, mechanical and electric technology that comprise the fundamental appearance and structure of electronic products. Membrane keypads make an ideal replacement for regular discrete component keypads and offer a higher reliability and stability during performance.
Printers used for the production of membrane switches offer a high precision of +/-0.1mm for silk-screening printing and ensuring position stability during the entire process.
Our drying equipment includes a Taiwanese Shengqi IR drying tunnel and hot air circulation oven. The temperature can be adjusted within +/-5° and the size change of processed products is controlled to within 0.05mm.
Our assembly line and AOI inspection devices are all independently developed, ensuring the adhesion precision of all 100 keys within 0.2mm.
The market requires products to be increasingly compact, as the limited key space design size also restricts circuit layout areas.
After the above tests are carried out, embrittlement and break or short circuit should not occur, while the circuit resistance should be smaller than 300% of the original resistance. The layout circuit requires a wire width of ≤0.3mm and the spacing between ≤0.25mm.
Excellent insulating properties for the circuit are necessary. Jumping wire designed need to be reduced as much as possible to decrease membrane thickness.
